Registered in the Artisan Enterprises Registry since 2002, Maria Grazia Gradassai is captivated by the qualities of glass—its transparency, color variation, opalescence, and iridescence under sunlight. Her fascination with stained glass in historic cathedrals sparked her passion for decorative glasswork, particularly for homes and places of worship. She designs and creates glass panels for doors, windows, rose windows, skylights, chandeliers, and mirrors. Each piece is constructed based on a full-scale graphic design meticulously planned before execution.
Gradassai works with various techniques, including leaded stained glass, where colored glass pieces are soldered with metal, glass fusing with high-quality colored sheets, engraving with sandblasting, and mixed methods incorporating different materials. She holds the Tuscia Viterbese collective brand, the Regione Lazio mark of origin and quality, and recognition from the OmA—Observatory of Artistic Crafts.She also participated in the Tuscia Experience project of the Chamber of Commerce of Viterbo.
