Since 1999, artisan Vincenzo Dobboloni has specialized in creating archaeological-style pottery, using ancient techniques in both clay preparation and decorative styles. He also draws on the Civita Castellana tradition of “ticchiolo” glazed furnishings from the 1920s to 1940s. His art extends beyond pottery to fresco painting, trompe l’oeil, glass and natural stone mosaics, and ceramic glazing on lava stone. Recognized as an “artisan of excellence” by Regione Lazio, Dobboloni’s work embodies a fusion of historical authenticity and artistic innovation.
