Il Papiro Art by Lidia Rita Scalzo

Painter and ceramist Lidia Scalzo lives and works between Rome and Viterbo. An accomplished artist, she started her career as a painter and ceramist. Her eclectic artistry takes shape in paintings, sculptures, and woodworks, incorporating resinous mortars, natural pigments, sands, clays, and colors applied with harmonious yet bold creativity.
Forms and designs merge to create highly personalized works. Her creations are vibrant, visually and tactilely stimulating pieces that evoke instinctive and emotional responses.
In 1985, she founded the Il Papiro Art workshop in Rome, a studio that best represents her creativity, which extends to interior design, and has operated in Vetralla for many years.
